Carbon analyst

With rapid growth in carbon markets driving a new demand for projects’ origination, Aera is seeking a Carbon Analyst to identify, assess and support the carbon certification of new high-impact VCS & Gold Standard projects.
Your main missions:
Analyze the eligibility and carbon potential of Renewable Energy and NBS projects
Manage the registration procedures of the projects with the International Standards
Coordinate the different stages of certification (technical documents, visits, verifications)
Participate in the elaboration of financing requests (green finance mechanisms)
Participate in other certification projects (RE, improved stoves, waste treatment)
Monitor regulatory changes in projects
Be a force for proposal to the Management
Your profile
Diploma Bac+5 Engineering School
Specialization in Environment, Sustainable Development, Biodiversity
Junior profile required
Experience in carbon projects
Ability to work in English and French
Ability to write, analyze and summarize
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Excellent interpersonal skills; rigorous, methodical, autonomous and reactive
Great capacity for adaptation and availability
100% home office or coworking internship (choice of location in metropolitan France)
